Rules and Policies

Tuition and Payments:

Tuition is in 10 equal installments through to June.

 First month's tuition for each class is to be paid in advance at the time of enrollment, along with a $45.00 non-refundable registration fee. All accounts are required to leave a credit/debit card on file. All payments are processed to your credit card on file as per the payment schedule  unless you have made a cash or check payment prior to the due date of the next payment.There is a 3% charge on all credit card transactions. 

Tuition is due the first class of each month. Tuition will not be prorated for missed classes. To cancel the session, a written request must be sent to info@dancehouseStudios.com and one months notice. No cancellations after April 1st.

In case of serious injuries such as broken bones or surgery, you can request to place your account on hold.

Class Size: There must be a minimum of children per  class. If the minimum is not met, the class will be cancelled and students will be asked to move into another class.

 

Absenteeism: If your child will be missing a class, please to let the teacher know. Students are entitled to a make-up class by appointment only. All make-up classes must be within four weeks of the missed class. Please refrain from multiple absences during recital choreography time. 

 

Teachers may be out from time to time covered by sufficient substitutes or rescheduled to a later date.

 

Class cancellations: We have have the right to cancel or combine classes due to unforeseen circumstances. If we need to combine your class with another class of a similar genre and you cannot attend the new time, you can attend a make up of your choice.

Dance Attire & Etiquette – STRICTLY ENFORCED

• Please see the 'Uniform' section on our website for dance attire for each genre.

• Hair should always be in a neat ponytail or bun. No loose headbands, hair beads, or bows that can fall out during class.

• Cell phones, chewing gum, and jewelry of any kind are not permitted in class.

• No street clothes or outdoor sneakers permitted in class.

• Please DO NOT wear your dance shoes on the street.

 

Recital

• All students will participate in the recital. If you decide to opt out of the recital, please let us know at registration or ASAP. 

The recital Fee is due Dec 1st and is non refundable. Costumes will not be distributed until your costume and tuition payments are paid in full.

• Tickets are sold at the studio. Children under the age of 4 will not need a ticket but must sit on someone’s lap. There are absolutely no refunds on tickets unless the event is cancelled. All ticket sales are strictly cash or check only. Each family will receive 1 program for the recital. 

Costumes and tuition: Students will be measured in class for their recital costumes. 


Insurance: Dancehouse Studios is not responsible for any injuries or accidents incurred in or around the property. The waiver is attached to your registration agreement
